Lantania collaborates with the Energy Without Borders Foundation with its first Solidarity Paddle Tournament

  • The company brought together fifty clients and collaborators at the Body Factory Sport Center in Tres Cantos to raise funds

Madrid, 21 July 2022. Lantania has teamed up with the Energy Without Borders Foundation (Esf). The infrastructure, water and energy company has organised its first Solidarity Paddle Tournament, the proceeds of which went to this development NGO whose mission is to extend and provide access to energy and usable water services to those who still do not have access to them, or whose water services are in dangerous conditions, or through primitive and improper procedures.

Last May, the company brought together fifty clients and collaborators at the Body Factory Sports Centre in Tres Cantos (Madrid) to raise funds for the Foundation. All the money raised went to the organisation’s Casa Hogar Andújar.

The project Casa Hogar de Andújar (Jaén) is a centre managed by the Charity Caritas Diocesana, which looks out for people who are in need and lack close relatives who can help or supervise them in their daily lives. At Casa Hogar, they are given individualised, person-centred and comprehensive care to promote personal autonomy, participation and coexistence. The project for which they have requested assistance from Energy without Borders is the photovoltaic installation for the self-consumption of electricity at the Casa Hogar Andújar and the installation of an aerothermal heating system to provide the Home with heating and running water.
