Lantania Colombia certifies its Safety, Occupational Health and Environmental Management

  •  The Colombian Safety Council accredits the company’s compliance with ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015 standards

Madrid, 27th January 2022. Lantania reinforces its commitment to continuous improvement, efficient management and the environment with the certification of the management systems of its branch office in Colombia. The Colombian Safety Council has awarded Lantania Aguas Colombia the certificate in Occupational Health and Safety and Environmental Management.

The company, located in Bogota, complies with the requirements of international standards ISO 45001:2018 and ISO 14001:2015 for the activities of operation (analysis, treatment and disposal) of wastewater treatment plants, technical assistance and maintenance of wastewater treatment plants recovered for the safe final discharge of water.

ISO 45001:2018 accredits companies that have an Occupational Health and Safety Management System that helps prevent occupational hazards and is committed to continuous improvement. This is the highest international standard in occupational risk prevention and marks the company’s commitment to the safety and health of its workers, with the elimination of all existing risks, the promotion of health and healthy habits in the company.

For its part, the ISO 14001:2015 standard demonstrates the company’s commitment to environmental protection through the management of environmental risks associated with its activities.
