Lantania Lantania to renovate the electrical installations of Navantia’s Fitting-out Wharf in Cádiz

  •  It will adapt the connections of the power transformers to the general low voltage switchboards and remodel the existing ones

Madrid, 1st December 2021. Lantania to renovate the electrical installations of Navantia’s Fitting-out Wharf in the Bay of Cádiz. The public company, a benchmark in the design and construction of military vessels and high-tech civilian ships, has awarded the company the project to carry out the adaptation of the connections from the power transformers to the general low-voltage switchboards, as well as the remodelling, adaptation and extension of the existing low-voltage switchboards.

The works will also consist of the design of the chapels that house a set of plastic boxes for voltages of 400, 230 V at 50 Hz and 440 V at 6 Hz that are fed by various electrical conductors installed in an underground gallery provided for this purpose. In addition to this, there will be the installation of new feed chests, trays in galleries, feed lines to the chests of the dock and adaptation of the ground network.

Navantia has very versatile facilities in the Bay of Cádiz for the development of its main lines of activity. Two shipyards in San Fernando and Puerto Real for shipbuilding projects, civil ships and wind power, together with the facilities in Cádiz and San Fernando for the repair of any type of ships, specifically cruise ships, as well as vessels of the Spanish Navy.
