Madrid, 30th September 2021. Lantania has renewed its Health and Safety, Quality and Environmental certifications with AENOR. The infrastructure, water and energy group has successfully passed the internal and external audits carried out by the certifying entity to update the ISO 9001:2015 (Quality Management), ISO 14001:2015 (Environmental Management) and ISO 45001:2018 (Health and Safety Management) standards, reaffirming their objective of continuous improvement of all their processes and services.

In addition to these certifications, Lantania has also obtained ISO 50001:2018, also awarded by AENOR, with which Lantania accredits its Energy Management System. This standard helps organisations to implement an energy policy and to properly manage the energy aspects derived from their activity in order to turn it into real and quantifiable savings.

The president of Lantania, Federico Ávila, received the certificates from the director for the Central and EMEA Region of AENOR, Gonzalo Piédrola, in a ceremony held on Wednesday, at the group’s headquarters.

These four certifications have also been validated for Lantania Aguas, Traviesas y Prefabricados de Aragón (Typsa) and Deisa, which are companies that belong to the Lantania Group.

ISO 45001:2018 endorses companies that have an Occupational Health and Safety Management System that helps prevent occupational risks and are committed to continuous improvement. This standard is the highest international standard in occupational risk prevention and marks Lantania’s commitment to the health and safety of its workers, with the elimination of risks, the promotion of health and healthy habits within the company.

ISO 9001:2015 accredits the company’s Quality Management System. This certification sets fundamental principles of quality management that help organisations to control and improve their performance, the excellence of their products and the optimisation of their services. ISO 14001:2015 endorses the company’s Environmental Management System, showing Lantania’s commitment to environmental protection through the management of environmental risks associated with its activity.
