Lantania is awarded the conservation of the access area of the Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport

 

  •  Secures a 13-million-euro contract with Aena at Madrid airport

Madrid, 2nd March 2020. Lantania will carry out the programming and execution of the complete maintenance activities in the area of movements and accesses of the Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport. Aena has allocated the company, in a joint venture with Saglas, Obras y Servicios, a contract worth 13 million euros for a period of two years, extendable for the same period, for the conservation of the Campo de Vuelo, the urbanisation and the accesses of the Madrid airport.

The company will act on the pavements and civil works, green areas and facilities associated with these spaces: maintenance of pavements, perimeter roads, access roads, urbanisation roads and parking, as well as the loading area. In addition to this, the maintenance of the runway end braking areas, the aircraft de-icing facilities next to the service galleries in the airfield.

In addition, the company will manage the maintenance of the drainage facilities for pipes, gutters, collectors and ditches. The separate sewerage network of collectors, as well as the horizontal signalling on runways, taxiways and platforms. At the accesses, loading area, car parks, tracks and roads, beacons, safety barriers, fences, street furniture, canopies, etc. will be preserved.

With this allocation, Lantania adds contracts worth 20 million euros in the last month in conservation and services, confirming its strategic positioning in this activity. The company has just been awarded the maintenance of the CIEMAT and the CES facilities. Among the main contracts within this activity is the maintenance of the Gregorio Marañón Hospital and the buildings of the Fuenlabrada City Council, along with the road maintenance of the Las Rozas City Council.
