It will launch two scholarship programmes to offer internships to ICADE (Catholic Institute of Business Administration and Management) and ICAI (School of Engineering) students
Madrid, 13 December 2023. Lantania has signed an educational cooperation agreement with the Comillas Pontifical University with the aim of identifying young talent. Through this agreement, the infrastructure, water and energy company will launch two scholarship programmes for the 2023-2024 academic year, offering internships to students in the final stage of their studies.
The company will offer two scholarships based on university education: one in business and finance for students from the Social Sciences branch of the Faculty of Economics and Business Administration and the Faculty of Law, ICADE; and another in engineering for students at the School of Engineering, ICAI. To be eligible for the scholarships, students must be in the final year of their bachelor’s or master’s degree.
Lantania will offer the students their first professional opportunity to continue their career with the company after the internship period. The company offers its scholarship holders a professional support and development plan, through which they can acquire and perfect their business skills in innovation, process efficiency and teamwork, among others, by applying the knowledge acquired at the University. The student’s work will be supervised and evaluated by both a lecturer from Comillas and a Lantania representative, who will be responsible for guiding and promoting the students’ learning.
Lantania wants to attract the best young talent to meet the challenges of sustainable infrastructure development. The creation of these scholarships is in addition to the Graduate Programme launched last October, which is aimed at recent graduates. Both initiatives offer the opportunity to be part of a young Group in full development, committed to building a more sustainable future based on cutting-edge technologies and guided by the values of transparency, integrity, ethics and enthusiasm.
