Lantania takes part in the RAI’s ‘Transformative Mentoring’ programme for vocational training

The initiative has provieded students with an experience designed to help them recognise and develop their abilities

Madrid, 11 March 2026. Lantania has participated in the first edition of the ‘Transformative Mentoring’ programme for Vocational Training (VT) organised by the Royal Academy of Engineering (RAI). The infrastructure, water and energy group joined the initiative aimed at developing young talent among vocational training students in the Community of Madrid studying STEM-related subjects such as Electricity and Electronics, IT and Communications, Chemistry, Transport and Vehicle Maintenance, Energy and Water, Mechanical Manufacturing, Installation and Maintenance, and Building and Civil Engineering.

The programme aims to extend the positive impact of mentoring to a group that is central to the country’s development. It has offered students a transformative experience, helping them recognise their talents and develop key skills, make clearer decisions about their professional or academic future, build and strengthen their professional networks, and incorporate inspiring role models into their personal and professional development.

The company joined the initiative as part of the collaboration agreement between ANCI, the association representing Spain’s non-listed construction companies, and the RAI, supporting students who are completing vocational training in STEM fields. A Lantania professional mentored one of the students throughout the programme to support their development, providing guidance, support and specialist knowledge, as well as advice on setting realistic and achievable goals.

Together they designed a structured learning pathway that included participation in projects and specialised technical sessions. After completing this stage, the student will continue their training with an internship at the company, continuing the learning process that began during the programme.
