Irina 220/30 ES, metering center and subway line HV evacuation (Valladolid)

The Irina Generación 220/30 kV transformer substation collects the power generated in the photovoltaic plants of the promoters IGNIS, Solaria and Aquila to increase it to 220 kV, so that it is poured into the transportation network through the 220 kV Medina del Campo substation, owned by Red Eléctrica de España.

The actions included in the scope of the contract have been:

  • Engineering, equipment supply, construction and commissioning of the SE Irina 220/30.
  • Engineering, equipment supply, construction and commissioning of the measurement center to quantify the amount of power fed into the grid.
  • The design, supply of cables and accessories and commissioning of the 220 kV underground line between SE Irina and the measurement center, and from the measurement center and the Medina del Campo substation, through which the generated power will be put into the grid, with a length of 664 m.
