San Jorge solar photovoltaic farm (Castellón)

Lantania has built a 23 MWp solar park and its evacuation infrastructure in the municipality of San Jorge, in the Bajo Maestrazgo region (Castellón). The contract included the construction of the photovoltaic plant, including engineering, commissioning, and subsequent operation, as well as its maintenance for two years.

The project covers an area of 29 hectares and is made up of more than 42,600 photovoltaic solar modules, 94 string inverters 215 kW, a 0.8/20 kV transformation center, a 20 kV sectioning center and one kilometer of evacuation line.

This plant is capable of supplying some 38,000 MWh per year, equivalent to the consumption of 8,500 families. The clean energy generated by the park save the emission of 10,000 tons of CO2 into the atmosphere per year, the equivalent to planting 500,000 trees.
