Runways and other tracks comprehensive conservation of the Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport (Madrid)

Lantania carries out, in a joint venture with Saglas, Obras y Servicios, the programming and execution of the comprehensive maintenance activities in the movement and access area of the Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport. The scope of the contract includes the airfield, urbanisation and accesses to the Madrid airport.

The company performs works on road surfaces and civil works, green areas and facilities associated with these spaces: road surface maintenance, perimeter roads, access roads, urbanisation and parking roads, as well as the loading zone. In addition to all this, the runway end braking areas, the aircraft de-icing facilities and the service galleries at the airfield also undergo maintenance. Moreover, the company manages the maintenance of the drainage facilities of pipes, gutters, and wastewater pipes, the separate sewerage network of wastewater pipes, as well as the horizontal signage on runways, taxiways and aprons.

The beacons, safety barriers, fencing, street furniture, door canopies, etc. of the accesses, loading area, car parks, runways and roads are also maintained.
