Maintenance service of civil works and other facilities at the Gregorio Marañón Hospital (Madrid)

Lantania was responsible of the maintenance of all the elements of the buildings and premises of the Gregorio Marañón hospital complex. The scope of the service included:

  • General locksmithing works, carpentry, brickwork, painting, glazing, mechanics.
  • Removal of leaks, water leaks and humidity.
  • Checking and removing cracks in walls, ceilings and facades, as well as plaster witnesses, including all the necessary auxiliary means and elements.
  • Supply and replacement of cladding, tiles and road surfaces.
  • Repair or complete replacement of blinds.
  • Repair of all types of doors, both interior and exterior.
  • Fresh coat of paint for entire panels.
  • Supply and replacement of all types of glass.
  • Repair and maintenance of furniture and fixtures.
  • Implementation of preventive Health and Safety measures that guarantee the isolation of the works according to the requirements of the Hospital’s Preventive Medicine Service.

The work contracts carried out were as follows:

  • Complete refurbishment of the toilets in hospital rooms.
  • Comprehensive refurbishment of the Geriatrics area, Urology area and Nephrology area.
  • Refurbishment of rooms on floor 1400.
  • Refurbishment of two paediatric ICUs.
  • Refurbishment works of Hemodynamic Cardiology on floor 5100 and PCU on floor 5300.
  • Refurbishment of the Neonatology unit on the second floor of the Maternity and Children’s Hospital.
  • Refurbishment of the hospitalisation units on floors 3200 and 3300, respectively.
  • Comprehensive refurbishment of the Neurophysiology unit.
  • Comprehensive refurbishment of the X-ray department at IPMQ (Medical-Surgical-Provincial Institute).
  • Refurbishment of the Genomics Laboratory at the Maternity and Children’s Hospital.
  • Adaptation of lift landings for regulatory compliance in the IPMQ (Medical-Surgical-Provincial Institute) building.
